Mr. Childress will be discussing his research on an antiphonal leaf, part of Special Collections holdings of early Christian and Islamic manuscript and printed leaves. The text of this particular leaf is taken from Psalm 76, Verse 14 and the chant will be performed during the event by Jarran Armstrong. Special Collections, in cooperation with Dr. Laura Cochrane, Associate Professor and Coordinator of Art History and Visual Arts, is pleased to be hosting these two students and their work as the first “MTSU Medieval Studies Colloquy.”
