Make cardboard Lego blocks!

During this workshop we will share the capabilities of cardboard through demonstrations and hands-on activities as well as share examples of how makers are using cardboard for prototyping, art, and function. It's one of the most versatile and readily available materials that you can reuse. In the end, you'll walk away with a physical artifact that you made and can use!

Key things you'll learn:

  1. Proper use of necessary tools
  2. Proper way to stack cardboard for stability
  3. Techniques for joints, connections, cutting, fasten (with glue), bending, reinforcement, and finishing
  4. 3-dimensional thinking
